Not Simms.
My family and I came in last Sunday for brunch at about 12pm. We were sat around 12:30 and the only thing offered was the breakfast buffet. The food was cold and very old. Most of the serving dishes were empty. We kept going back for more, hoping they would be refilled, but almost nothing was. The cook at the omelet station completely ignored us even though no one else was around. One of the waiters had to come over and serve us the prime rib because no one else would.I was so disappointed. This was a birthday brunch for my daughter and we were all feeling ill on Monday. The hostess was far from friendly but the server was fine. Very expensive for what we got. Do not recommend and we will not be back.
Our last meal before finishing up our vacation and heading back home. My husband was more than happy with his 16 oz prime ribeye, it came with a baked potato. The prime ribeye was cooked perfectly as he requested. The lobster bisque was delicious and a good serving size! I had the CRISPY CALAMARI with Ponzu slaw, citrus chili as my meal and it was yummy! The prices were not crazy expensive. The staff was very professional and friendly. They also were very accommodating as we had ordered to go but then decided we had enough time to sit down and eat before our flight. They prepared a table for us and sat us down to eat in house. That was just amazing service. Couldn’t have asked for better. Highly recommend Simms steakhouse!
Great food! I had the boneless beef rib eye, grilled brussel sprouts, also a huge bowl of mussels. Delicious! They have a full bar and an impressive wine list. Simms Steakhouse is very pricey, but the food, service and beautiful views are worth it. I joined the Landry's membership, so got $25 off for my birthday! Great for special occasions!
Had an amazing experience here. We had amazing food and the service team really worked together so the entire dinner was seamless. Absoutely reccomend and will definitely return!
Very good steak house with excellent views of downtown Denver. Would not hesitate to go here again.
A very nice Sunday evening dinner with my bride! Will definitely come again.
Absolutely outstanding. Fantastic service and a Stunning view of Denver! The view is beautiful and and the food is outstanding. DON'T SIT WITH YOUR BACK TO THE WINDOWS.
Great place for an amazing dinner, wine, steak and a good chatting. Lovely place, expensive but worthed, valet parking at no extra cost. Overall a great place.
Amazing steaks and a million dollar view! Aaaaand they have happy hour on Sunday!!
Everything from the shrimp to the wagyu beef was amazing, just like the service. Beautiful view and exciting cocktails to boot!
We were coming home from a weekend at Vail when we stopped here for dinner and wine. Tony treated us with amazing service. Food and wine was great. Simms is our new go to after a trip to the mountains.
Really good steakhouse, great views of Denver, service was perfect, food was very good, pricey as expected, but overall worth it.
Simms always does a fantastic job. My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner party there in their private room. All windows with wonderful views of Denver. It was the perfect way to welcome our wedding guests as everyone was from out of town. We have also done regular dining at Simms and always have incredible service. We LOVE the bread they provide and of course all the food we have tried has been delicious!
Great service and staff. I've been going there for over a decade. Don't order the chicken if you are in a hurry, but it is worth the wait.
Great food, great service by Elliot, social distancing with every other table, and masks worn by all staff. Thanks for a wonderful setting for Father's Day!
I had a gift card from here and decided to take my aunties. It was such a great night. Food was amazing and the atmosphere was intimate. Definitely would go again. Great for a fancy date night
Modern, upscale and cozy - this place is perched on a hill with an amazing view of the city.Huge patio with fire tables so you can take in the sights. Huge windows allow the views should you prefer to stay indoors.Steaks, seafood and salads abound. Small menu but they know what they're good at and stick with it.Impressive selection of liquors and cocktails - extensive wine list. Standard parking with the option to valet.
We love this place. Great food, great views of the Denver skyline at nite.
Went for our Anniversary. Had a great dinner. Mahi was great and so was the Buffalo Filet. Service was fantastic, we will be back.
Atmosphere was soft-lit, quiet, nice for a date or a small group gathering. We ordered the Creole Oysters and were impressed, they were very authentic to oysters you’d order in New Orleans — char grilled, buttery and cheesey, super delicious. The wine selection is very high end, to the point where we spent more on the wine than the steaks — but the wine our server (Jenna) suggested was exactly to our taste, great job reading the table. The sides are table style, so don’t order two for yourself along with your steak, you’ll wind up with way too much food. Service was good, we had a trainee serving us and he did a nice job.
The view, the service, the view, and the Sunday brunch are all reasons we love to eat here. The selection during brunch is wonderful and the omeletes are on-point. It's a classy joint, so dress accordingly.
Decent food but not amazing. Our server was attentive but not very personable/fun. I understand it’s a nice restaurant, but it’s ok to loosen up and act casual every once in a while. The view was amazing, especially with all the fireworks. I’ll be back, but probably just for drinks and apps. The steaks are really just average.
Lovely experience. Monday night special is a fantastic value
Waiter only wore mask over mouth not nose when we are trying to support business made us feel unsafe. Food was good.
This place has been here for almost 40 years. I love the Sunday brunches and the incredible views. The food was great and prepared very well. The steaks are prime grade and cooked to perfection. An excellent experience with attentive server and prompt valet service. We'll be back soon with the in-laws.
Great place for happy hour. They have beer, wine, and drink specials, plus a great selection of food plates such as fried cheese curds and sliders. The views are amazing, and the staff is very friendly!
I will start positive .Nice view from the patio and nice servers. Now back to reality Apetizers we had mussels and bruschetta with prime rib and cheese were nothing special.Fillet Mignon steak had no taste and felt like was in freezer since Coronavirus hit 4 months ago.Mashed potatoes were like glue and no taste at all.For that level of restaurant and price tag big disappointment. Not coming back.BE AWARE of overpriced place. You will get better tasting food in Wendy's or McDonald's without a hustle.
It's always a pleasure to come here. They have a great Happy Hour and Brunch along with their regular menu and custom creative delicious drinks. The staff is super friendly and helpful.
Great trip to Simms. It has been a little bit since we had dinner at this restaurant due to quality issues with staff and food. This time around the food was good but my daughters farmers pie was gummy and not the greatest. Everything else was delicious and our waiter was great. My 16 yr old son told the waiter he wanted his meal to be chefs choice and while it was delicious it was not creative like it normally is elsewhere. The bread is not served individually but in a loaf. The peanut butter and banana cake was incredible. We definitely paid for our meal 4 ppl for $400 with tip. I would go again but go basic and spend the money elsewhere.
Great place for any occasion! Food was amazing and service was friendly! And the view was beautiful!!
Prime rib specials on Monday for $25. Definitely worth it. The buffet is incredible as well which they do on Sundays I think. The view of Denver from the restaurant is gorgeous. This is one of my favorite restaurants in CO. I usually go here for special occasions.
